CHAPTER 10: CIRCLE  TERMS RELATED TO CIRCLE Definition: Suppose a point is fixed (like a pole) and another point (like a goat) She is moving around the pole, tied with a rope that is fully stretched. If the goat moves one round and we trace the path of the goat, then this path is known as a circle.
