Tag Line: "To kaise hain aaplog, aaiye shuru karte hain bina kisi..."
The moment CarryMinati says these words, millions stop scrolling and start watching. Today’s youth can’t get enough of Ajey Nagar, better known as CarryMinati — the face of Indian roasting, gaming, and comedy.

From Faridabad to Fame

Born on June 12, 1999, in Faridabad, Haryana, CarryMinati left his formal education behind after anxiety over an economics exam in Class 12. Instead, he followed his passion for content creation and built a career on YouTube.

Now, with over 41.4 million subscribers on his main channel and more than 7 million Instagram followers, Carry has been recognized by Time Magazine as a Next Generation Leader. He’s also a writer, rapper, singer, and songwriter.

The Family Behind the Creator

CarryMinati’s family includes his parents, elder brother, grandparents, and cousins.

  • Brother: Yash Nagar (Wily Frenzy) – music producer

  • Mother: Doctor

  • Father: Lawyer

  • Grandfather: Shri Gajraj Bahadur Nagar – well-known politician in Haryana

His mother once hoped he would become a doctor, but Carry chose to chase his creative dreams instead.

Early Struggles & First YouTube Attempts

Before the fame, Ajey tried and failed multiple times.

  • First Channel: STealTHFeArzZ – football training videos (low popularity)

  • Shifted to gaming tutorials, especially for Counter-Strike, with a Sunny Deol-inspired persona called Carry Deol.

The Rise of Roasting

On July 29, 2016, Carry uploaded his first major roasting video — Roasting All India Bakchod. The mix of quick humor, exaggerated expressions, and lightning-fast delivery became his signature style.

In May 2020, his roast of TikToker Amir Siddique went viral, sparking the massive YouTube vs TikTok debate and cementing his position as Asia’s No. 1 YouTuber.

Gaming & Creative Content

CarryMinati doesn’t just roast — he’s equally known for his gaming content.
Popular videos include:

  • Saas Bahu Aur Saanp

  • Rare Indian Street Food

  • MrBeast Parody

Big Collaborations

Carry has worked with:
Bhuvan Bam, BeerBiceps, Ashish Chanchlani, Harsh Beniwal, Techno Gamerz, Triggered Insaan, Fukra Insaan, Mythpat, Technical Guruji, Round2Hell, Kabita’s Kitchen, Purav Jha, Mortal, NotYourType — and more.

The YouTube Removal Controversy

When one of his roast videos — set to become the most-watched non-music video — was removed by YouTube, Carry addressed it publicly. Fellow YouTubers, including Ashish Chanchlani, voiced support, assuring him that his audience’s love was bigger than any record.
