1. Introduction 

 Sapphire has had its spiritual and cultural importance since ancient times. In Vedic astrology, it is suggested to support Saturn (Shani). It has a good demand for jewelry items due to its brighter appearance.

A variety of minerals are constituents of the sapphire-like corundum (aluminum oxide, with a trace of iron, titanium, cobalt, lead, chromium, vanadium, magnesium, and cobalt). The antidote, blood-purifying, brain-tonic, cardio-tonic, and exhilarant qualities of sapphire have been well documented. It has long been used to successfully treat palpitations, anxiety, and epilepsy [1].

Saturn is considered the lord of "Justice." He gives the fala (result) according to the karma of the human. If Saturn is afflicted in the Kundali, a person may experience delayed results for their work and have to wait longer.
